Please mark your calendar to attend our Lordship Revival October 2-5.  This revival is for Christians and deals with the Lordship of Christ in our lives. I am praying for a great revival and I ask that you do as well.
Why a Lordship revival? We can all agree that we need revival in our land. While we call the US a ‘Christian nation’ we no longer live as if we are. The morals of our nation have changed, our priorities have changed, and many of the things that the Bible says is sin are embraced and accepted as normal by our culture. But more than what is happening in our nation I am grieved by what is happening in our churches.
When I was younger it was not unusual to see people at the altar, weeping over their sins or the sins of others. We are no longer broken over sin or the lostness of those without Christ. Too many churches have become like the church of Ephesus in Revelation 2. They are going about their work, but they have left their first love for the Lord. One reason that so many “go through the motions” of a Christian life is because of this loss of love for the Lord. It is carnality and it is sin. And as sin, it is a barrier between us and the Lord and His blessings.
In the OT we read about Solomon who built the first temple to the Lord. At the dedication service Solomon prayed: “If Your people have sinned against You, and they return to You and confess Your name, and pray and make supplication before You in this house then hear from heaven and forgive the sin of Your people...” (2 Chronicles 6:24-25)  And God answered in the next chapter: “If My people which are called by My Name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)
My prayer is that God do a mighty work in our lives because we are willing to repent of whatever has taken the place of our love for the Lord.  My prayer is that God will do a great work in us and as a result we will surrender all that we are to Christ, and that He will do a mighty work through us for His glory.
Mark your calendar, pray for each other, for our evangelist, Ted Kersh and for me, and make arrangements to be in every service.  I am praying for you.  Bro. Keith
