Change: transitive verb1 a: to make different in some particular b: to make radically different c: to give a different position, course, or direction to 2 a: to replace with another b: to make a shift from one to another c: to undergo a modification of. Synonyms:  alter, transform, switch.

Are you ready for change?  We have adopted a new ministry plan and constitution.  The biggest change will be the follow-through, the commitment, the putting into action of the nuts and bolts of the plan: beginning small groups, putting into place the new children’s ministry, and the many other things that go along with these things.   Remember that you have committed to change.  So I will be calling you to action, to volunteer for ministry, to hold one another accountable to the ministry plan we have adopted.

Most of you know by now that we have had two resignations on the Ministry Board.  I have asked three men to pray about serving in leadership positions on our board.  Pray for them as the Lord speaks to their hearts about His will.  Also, with the vacancy in our youth ministry leadership I have asked Josh Seago to serve as acting youth director.  He will be leading our youth at Falls Creek and throughout the summer months.  Pray for him as he fills this role until we make decisions on permanent leadership.

Pray especially for Gary Venable.  He has volunteered to lead Falls Creek this year, in addition to serving as head of our cook staff.  He has a full plate these next few weeks as he learns what to do to lead Falls Creek.
