From the Pastor’s Desk – What do you think of when you think the 4th of July? Fireworks? Picnics? Vacation? I often think of the freedoms that we have because we live in the USA. I am thankful for the freedom to worship the Lord every day and the freedom to gather as a church to worship publicly as often as we choose.  I am thankful for the freedom I have as an American to be able to take a group of youth or children to camp and teach them about Jesus and see them respond to the Lord. I am thankful for the freedoms the Lord has blessed us with that many nations only dream about.  I would like to invite you to join me in praying for our great land, for our elected officials, and for our military serving at home and abroad. Pray for all to be led by God’s wisdom. Pray for their hearts to be opened to the Lord’s Spirit. Pray that lives are changed so that you nation will see great revival. And pray that God bless our great land.
